How long does it take?

It depends on the individual. Most appointments run from 45 minutes to 60 minutes, allowing time for an initial consultation and documentation as well as any questions you may have about the infusion.

How often can I have an infusion?

There are a number of factors to consider when it comes to frequency of infusion appointments. At your first appointment, our nurses will discuss these with you and with the support of our doctors, can set up a schedule that is safe and within your budget.

Is there a minimun age to have an infusion?

Yes. You must be over the age of 18.

Can I get an infusion if I’m pregnant?

We can only offer our hydration infusion while you’re pregnant.

How does the appointment works?

Our registered nurses come to you at your home/hotel/office or business. All infusions are administered under an order from one of our doctors. Our nurse will then monitor you during the infusion to ensure your safety and comfort and answer any questions you have about the infusion.

Will you put a needle in my arm?

Yes. As the name suggests, IV (intravenous) involves the insertion of a cannula into the vein allowing for fluids and vitamins to be administered directly into the bloodstream. A needle is used to place the cannula and then removed leaving a plastic tubing which will be monitored throughout the infusion and removed once the infusion is completed.

What do I need to do after my treatment?

It is not recommended to do any sort of strenuous activity involving the arm that you have received the infusion via for up to 24 hours after the infusion

Will I bruise?

There is a chance of bruising with any invasive procedure. Our nurses will do everything they can to minimise this and will provide you with ways to minimise the chances.
